ELIGIBLE CATEGORIES

Applications qualified to participate in this hackathon must demonstrate how Redis can be used ‘Beyond Cache’ and should fit into at least one of the following categories:

  1. Event-driven architectures –Your application uses Redis Streams, Pub/Sub, and/or Queues to demonstrate a smart use of real-time information provided by users, services or IoT networks. Examples might include: 1) using Streams to create reliable workflows that produce and consume data at different rates; 2) using Pub/Sub to create real-time user notifications that fire-and-forget updates to many user's browsers and/or mobile apps; or 3) using Queues to help internal systems scale by creating background jobs and processing them later
  2. Redis Modules-focussed - An application using RediSearchRedisGraphRedisJSONRedisTimeSeriesRedisBloom (and also the new RedisAI & RedisGears modules) in a compelling way
