Inspired by apps submitted during the Redis Day hackathon in Bangalore, we’ve decided to run our first-ever online developer hackathon -- the Redis ‘Beyond Cache’ Hackathon. Once again, the point of this hackathon will be to develop apps that take advantage of built-in Redis data structures that enable Event-driven Architecture, and/or use one of the many Modules that extends Redis functionality.
This hackathon is also timed to coincide with RedisConf, the yearly get-together of Redis community members. Of course, this year RedisConf has gone online and is called RedisConf Takeaway, with the theme 'Rediscover'. Attend the RedisConf keynotes to learn 'Whats new with Redis' and get inspiration for your new app.
This Redis ‘Beyond Cache’ Hackathon is free to participate in, and open to all developers with the desire to explore and create new, innovative applications using Redis.
